Xuan Thu Studio is a space that provides expert custom sewing, dressmaking, alteration services and design work. We prioritize putting the client’s authentic self first and cater to all shapes, sizes and budgets. We specialize in everyday garments as well as assist in formal wear, bridal and more. In addition, we are passionate about repurposing pre-existing garments and creating something new out of something old. We look forward to working with you!
Meet Thu
From Vietnam, Thu (too) has over 30+ years of experience in working with clothing. She was exposed to the world of sewing at a young age working in swimwear design. She developed skills, expertise and knowledge of fitting and styling garments to compliment a diverse range of individuals. She prioritizes making the client look and feel their best. Thu comes from a line of creatives and takes inspiration from her family.
Running her home-based business in Peterborough, Ontario for the past couple of decades, she has the experience of serving a local community and now hopes to connect with others in Ottawa.
